Chic Pink Bed & Bath ✨

Hello readers! Today I want to take you on a tour of one of my most recent designs: an upscale girly master bedroom and bathroom. It is a girly girl's dream! My inspiration here is upscale girly, Hollywood glam, florals, sparkles, sumptuous fabrics and fun - because all girls just wanna have fun :)

Candlesticks, candle holder & jewels from Hobby Lobby. I attached the jewels to the candle holder for a touch of glam on an otherwise masculine piece.

Little vanity, how I adore thee.

I moved the mirror in and sat it here with the intention to hang the mirror on the adjacent wall however, I've quite liked the look of it in the corner so here it remains.

Two pack of frames & bedding set from Ross.

Vase is a 1-800-flowers vase that I thrifted from Goodwill as well as the Victorian book. Pink crackled circle vase, florals and clear gems are all Hobby Lobby

Fur throw blanket & lamp - Hobby Lobby

Picture frame & rose candle is Ross. Mirrored votives are a mixture of thrift finds & Hobby Lobby that I assembled/crafted to create.

Master bathroom

White vase w/ florals is Ross and the crystal clock is a pawn shop find in Atlanta, GA.

I purchased this tray for $4 from Ross several years ago. It's perfect for my everyday items. The two tier cotton ball/cottonswab holder is from Target and helps save valuable countertop space.

Below: Closet. I painted the ceiling, baseboards and trim in the muted pink and the walls stark white.

This room screams girly chic. I adore it. We listed our main home for sale and moved into this property that we were redoing. It was painted gray for resale however once I knew we'd be staying in it for a bit I wanted to take the opportunity customize it. Even though this won't be a long term residence, I wasn't sure how long a "bit" would be and I really wanted to infuse my personality in my sacred space. I decided to do a smaller scale refresh and what better way than with paint.

I painted an accent wall in a muted pink and for cohesiveness and affordability, used that same color for the bathroom cabinets and closet ceiling and trim. The gold knobs, shower bar & hooks and blush curtain are from Amazon. I saved money on light fixtures by spray painting them gold and replacing the bulbs. They seem on theme with the old Hollywood glam vibe so I thought they were very fitting.

The star of the room is probably the blush pink bed. I purchased it from Target and it fits the room much nicer than our giant king bed. I had planned to install a gold chandelier and build a frame around it using four 2x4's spray painted gold. However, it looks as if we may be moving soon so I've held off on that purchase and project.

One of my favorite things in the room is a newly acquired vanity and stool. I purchased this from FB Marketplace for a grand total of $25! It has a slide out drawer with compartments for my makeup storage and the mirror slides to the side revealing hooks and shelves for necklace and bracelet storage as well as a velvet ring holder storage unit inside. All of this storage was extremely helpful to me since the bathroom and closet are much smaller than my previous homes.
The lighted makeup mirror was a gift from my husband this past Christmas.

I planned to add my rug in here but I've instead used it in the living room. I think a large area rug as well as a faux fur runner on the side of the bed would look so luxurious and cozy.
The drapes are another area I sort of just used what I had in the interim. These drapes are a little short for this window and really need to be doubled, however, again I plan to hold off on customizing the room anymore at this point as a move seems near.

Creating this space and living in it has been such a vibe. I absolutely love it and how it turned out. It is a fun theme for a short while but I knew going in it would be short lived. As much as I adore it I would probably go for something more classic, transitional for a long term residence. But this was such a fun inspired dream turned reality. It definitely feels like an inviting and feminine space and it's been so fun to make it all my own. :)

I encourage you to make the most of your bedroom. This is the one room in the home that is yours and let it represent a sacred area for you. Infuse your personality, make it inviting and create a soft, sensual environment that exudes YOU.

If you want to refresh your bedroom- my number one tip would be to start with a good deep cleaning. You can read all about the most important step of a bedroom refresh in my post HERE
